The CARE Program provides comprehensive medical evaluations in cases of known or suspected child maltreatment. Wendy Gladstone, MD sees patients who have experienced physical, sexual or emotional abuse or neglect during infancy, childhood or adolescence. Referrals are also welcome in cases of injury or symptoms where the cause is unclear and non-accidental trauma and/or pediatric condition falsification are considerations. The CARE Program accepts referrals for children entering or living in foster care. Dr. Gladstone is a member of the multi-disciplinary teams associated with three New Hampshire Child Advocacy Centers: in Rockingham, Strafford and Hillsboro County. Referrals from other counties and from outside the state are also accepted.
