Patient-focused ventilator care in the context of a larger respiratory program
The zephyr - a gentle breeze - is the inspiration for the respiratory and ventilator care program of Exeter Healthcare.
As the only long-term ventilator unit in New Hampshire, 7 of our 26 beds are dedicated to residents who require ventilators. We participate in Medicaid, Medicare and commercial insurance programs. We also accept patients by referral.
Our respiratory therapists assess, plan and implement quality respiratory care for residents. We meet with families initially, quarterly and as needed to assess and reassess the progress and plan for each resident, ensuring continual care of the highest quality.
Exeter Healthcare also offers respiratory services to skilled patients who are not ventilator-dependent.
