HealthReach Community Education offers a variety of American Heart Association CPR Classes.
For the lay person, there's Family and Friends Pediatric or Adult CPR. This is a two hour class with an instructor and a video watch, then a practice session to ensure clear instruction.
First Responders at the work place who need to have certified training can sign up for the AHA Heartsaver CPR Class. This class offers training for pediatric or adult CPR. Training is scheduled for three hours and includes a test upon completion of the course. Certification cards are issued and must be renewed every two years.
The Healthcare Providers Course teaches infant, toddler and adult CPR skills (including ventilation with barrier devices, bag-mask device, use of an AED, and relief of FBOA.)
