To promote awareness of diabetes, the diabetes education staff frequently presents programs on management and prevention in the surrounding communities.
Typical venues include health fairs held at hospitals, schools, companies and community centers, and local American Diabetes Association events. The staff also provides blood sugar screenings and education on board Exeter Health Resources Mobile Medical Van, which visits various sites in the Seacoast area.
Educational programs are also available upon request.
