Rockingham Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice, an affiliate of Exeter Health Resources, was formed when the Derry Visiting Nurse Association merged with the Exeter Visiting Nurse Association in 1990.
Starting out as the Derry VNA, our agency has been caring for individuals and their families since 1905. During this period of time, small, community-based non-profit visiting nurse agencies were developed to care for neighbors in need of assistance.
More than 100 years ago, Rockingham VNA & Hospice was born out of this traditional value of neighbors helping neighbors.
We have now grown to an agency with over 125 employees, yet remain true to our long-standing history of responding to the needs of our community members. Our Care Teams provide an array of Home Care, Hospice, and Community Outreach programs and services throughout our service communities, and truly value our reputation as “a neighbor you can rely on.”
